Hey folks,
I just wanted to expand on the "Tom's Quote of the Week."
The bible says in Luke 6:44“For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.” That is so true! If it looks like a skunk and smells like a skunk, then it probably is a skunk! In verse 43 it says: “For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.” Again so true, But we as people and more importantly “Christians” tend to take this as a free pass to “Judge People!” We can know that if we see a brother or a sister do something or say something that they should not be doing or saying, it is our duty to pray for them instead of judging them for their failures! To many folks in the church begin to judge and find fault with people no matter how good they are! The last I checked there was only one that was perfect and his name is Jesus Christ! Romans 3:23 says: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” You, me and everyone else that still walks around in this earthly body, is going to fail sometime or another, but instead of judging others, we should be loving others and praying for them; not going to others and gossiping about them!! We are to spread the “GOSPEL”, not the “GOSSIP!”
James 4:11,12 says: (11)“Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if (12)“There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?”
It is not your job or mine to judge! You say: “Well they hurt me or done something wrong to me!” It doesn’t matter! We do not have the title of Judge! Only God can judge! Hebrews 30, 31- (30)"For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people." (31)"It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." Leave it up to God! Everyone will stand before him one day and give an account of every thing we do or say in this life!
It is simple, "Do Not Grudge or Become a Judge! James 5: 9 “Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.” Matthew 7:1-3 "(1)Judge not, that ye be not judged. (2)For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again."
Romans 2:3 says: “And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?”
Again I leave you with this quote; "If you’d stay busy cleaning your own house then you wouldn’t have the time; to stick your nose where it don’t belong and be constantly judging mine!!" God bless you dear friends,
Bro. Tom

Matthew 7:1,2 1. Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
